Nera Networks wins USD 9 million contract with major South American operator

 Nera Networks'  Evolution Series (TM) microwave radios will be at the core of the solution, and in addition Nera Networks will provide commissioning, installation and engineering. The value is estimated at 9 MUSD/58 million NOK.

The project will start deliveries by the beginning of 3rd Qarter in 2010. This an extension of an earlier agreement signed earlier this year and was awarded to Nera upon the outstanding project development and performance before other suppliers.

The Americas accounted for approximately 50 percent of revenue in Nera Networks in 2009, and correspondingly for the 1st quarter in 2010
